Rooted in History, Reimagined for Today
Just off the bustle of Bridge Street sits a space woven into Vail’s story. Opened by Rod Slifer in 1962, this office has served as a cornerstone of the community for over 60 years—and remains in the Slifer family to this day.
From powder days to property dreams, it’s more than a real estate office—it’s a piece of local history. As we look to the future, our remodel honors that legacy while creating a welcoming, modern space for the next generation of clients and brokers.
The Vision
A Space That Tells the Story of Vail.
The design of 230 Bridge Street reflects Vail’s alpine charm, Bavarian influence, and mountain-modern sophistication. With a foundation of natural stone, white oak, and hand-selected finishes, the space is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in place.
At the center of it all? A large-scale model of Vail Village and Vail Mountain—crafted to help visitors visualize the landscape, understand the neighborhoods, and imagine their next chapter here.

Designed as a tool for orientation and storytelling, this interactive display helps guests and brokers explore the terrain, trace trails, and understand the unique layout of the town—one neighborhood at a time.
